Dear Patients,
Your health and wellness are our top priority and we hope that you are all staying well. We miss seeing and treating our patients and hope to be able to open our office again soon. We wanted to let you know about some procedures that have always been in place and some new ones that we will be implementing in order to begin to see patients in our office again.
High level infection control precautions are a regular routine part of our normal practice, and these precautions are in compliance with current CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. As always, we sterilize all equipment and tools between patients whether there is a pandemic or not. In addition to these normal practices of ours we have 2 hand sanitizing stations in the waiting room. We also have a sink that is available for patients to wash their hands before and after their appointments and the checkout area will be sanitized after each patient. As we continue to do our part, we kindly ask that if you have traveled outside of the US in the past 14 days or have flu like symptoms that you call us to reschedule your appointment. We want to make sure that our office continues to be a safe and healthy place for all of our patients.
In addition to these practices we will screen all of our patients prior to coming in the office. When we confirm your appointment, you will be asked several questions:
- Have you tested positive for COVID-19 and, if yes: -the date when symptoms began to abate?
- Have you had close contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 or with symptoms?
-are you symptomatic or currently under mandatory isolation?
Our waiting room will be closed until further notice, so we ask that you call us from the parking lot to let us know you are here for your appointment. You will be called to come upstairs when we are ready for you. We will take your temperature before entering our office and we ask you to use hand sanitizer which we will provide upon entering our practice.
These are unprecedented times that we are in but together we can do our part in keeping our community safe and healthy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation and we can't wait to see you again.
Sincerely,
Gary Dudar DDS
